Made a one day stop at Brussels, Belgium on route to Frankfurt, Germany. Visited Mini Europe, shopping district, and another 1 or 2 spots as recommended by the the tourist help booth. Probably one of the funniest thing happened during the entire vacation.

We were pretty tired from lots of walking when we were at Mini Europe. We took the train to take a look at Brussel’s shopping district. It was a long ride with many stops in between, and we weren’t sure how long the ride was going to take. Phaik Lyn and I doze off a couple of times, waking up each time to check our stop – making sure we didn’t miss ours. A friendly old couple was sitting opposite us and noticed our tired looks and what we were doing. They asked us where we were going in which we gently replied – this stop where the shopping district was. They told us to just sleep and they’ll wake us up once our stops arrived. So we went ahead and took a nap, but occasionally woke up after a few stops. And at each time we woke up, they told us “Sleep sleep! We’re still not there yet!” LOL!
