Made a one day stop at Brussels, Belgium on route to Frankfurt, Germany. Visited Mini Europe, shopping district, and another 1 or 2 spots as recommended by the the tourist help booth. Probably one of the funniest thing happened during the entire vacation.

We were pretty tired from lots of walking when we were at Mini Europe. We took the train to take a look at Brussel’s shopping district. It was a long ride with many stops in between, and we weren’t sure how long the ride was going to take. Phaik Lyn and I doze off a couple of times, waking up each time to check our stop – making sure we didn’t miss ours. A friendly old couple was sitting opposite us and noticed our tired looks and what we were doing. They asked us where we were going in which we gently replied – this stop where the shopping district was. They told us to just sleep and they’ll wake us up once our stops arrived. So we went ahead and took a nap, but occasionally woke up after a few stops. And at each time we woke up, they told us “Sleep sleep! We’re still not there yet!” LOL!

Still clearing my backlog of pictures

Bonjour from Paris, France! Since we weren’t the artistic bunch, we just stop by Paris for the day as we wait to continue our journey from London to Barcelona by train.

On my current mission on finishing up my backlog of pictures:

Our first stop in Europe! We spent the majority of our time in London, but we made way to see some other places like Stonehenge and Bath. Tips for people going to London: I brought my iPhone there, got a vodaphone prepaid simcard, and had free unlimited data plan. Was extremely helpful to get around in London!

Speaking of weddings, I was just browsing some cinematic wedding films the last few days and looks like there isn’t any good ones in the US. Seriously, there’s a bunch of crappy ones if you just google “cinematic wedding film”. But take a look at these 2 videos:

I think a crew of 2-3 people can kick-start this. If there’s someone who wants to start experimenting this, I’m all onboard!

Oh, and one more thing – it feels good to have FINALLY graduated!

We’ve got another bunch of Malaysians graduated in May. This time we have Chek, Whitney, Amin, Woei Jie, Hong Wei, Jie Ying, Chi Min, Ke Jia, Natalie, Richard, Joy, Carmun, Jian Wei, Lay Poh and Chi Min. I think I missed out a few but couldn’t remember who. Congratulations on your graduation, hopefully, the next one would be mine.
