This is the first time I cook a turkey!!! Hold and behold, though it’s my first time, it did turn out yummy!!
Phaik Lyn did the turkey stuffing and baked a banana cake, Wei Jian prepared the ham, garlic bread and the fondue. Chi Min brought mash potatoes, Yee Siang brought ice-cream and Joy brought… err, herself. But she gets to do the dishes, so we forgave her. Dinner was huge, could have feed a kampung (village) with all the amount of food that we had. Once we were done with dinner, we had chocolate fondue! Well, we know fruits are always good for us, but dipped with chocolate, gosh.. it’s just plain sinful!
Oh, and about the bird, we took about 1.5 hours to roast it in the oven, contrary to popular belief that you’ll need 3 – 4 hours for the bird. The secret – here.
Happy stuffing turkey!
p.s. Did I tell you why I like photography again? Just look at some of Wei Jian pictures! =P
